History is created when an ordinary person accomplishes a task, which in itself is extra-ordinary. All juvenile attempts materialize into huge achievements then and earn the distinction of being embossed in the pages of history. In an effort to augment the growth of technical manpower in the era of technology, the MATA SUDARSHAN TILAJ\K RAJ DHAWAN EDUCATIONAL TRUST established “HARYANA ENGINEERING COLLEGE, JAGADHRI in the year 1998 under the able chairmanship of young and dynamic personality of Sh. Inderjeet Bajaj. Haryana Engineering College is recognized as the benchmark institution in terms of defining the contours of quality engineering education for the technology schools across India. Azzaro-2002, was the first National technical symposium hosted by the college in fourth year of its establishment. This event was the first step towards the exploration of the realms of technologies as well as the hidden caliber of the students. The event brought together 250 delegates from 32 colleges all over the country. Year 2003, witnessed Azzaro-2003, the second National technical symposium. This event became a Mega event by the participation of 450 delegates from 50 colleges from the country. Azzaro-2004, the 3rd national technical symposium was again  a big success in which  550 delegates from 48 colleges all over the country participated. Azzaro-2005, the fourth National Technical Symposium, attracted 300 delegates from 38 colleges all over the country.  In Azzaro-2006, the fifth National Technical Symposium, 350 delegates from 38 colleges participated. Azzaro-2007, the sixth National Technical Symposium held on March 23-24, 2007 was again a resounding success through participation of 410 delegates from 35 colleges from all over the country. Azzaro-2008, seventh National Technical Symposium was held on March 14 – 15, 2008 which was again a great success through participation of 560 delegates from 52 colleges from all over the country. Azzaro-2009 held on March 20-21,2009 was again a verdant event by the participation of 910 delegates from 60 colleges.
